1. “Underfloor heating is slow and takes a long time to warm up.”

2. “Underfloor heating cannot be installed in older properties.”

3. “Underfloor heating is expensive to run.”

6. “Underfloor heating is only suitable for tiles.”
Not true — underfloor heating can be used with laminate, vinyl, engineered wood and many other suitable floor finishes. The key is to choose floor coverings that are compatible with the heating system.
7. “If something goes wrong, the entire floor has to be dug up.”
